Inkjet printer ink is one of the most expensive liquids in the world, sometimes even more expensive than brand name perfume. This has opened up a booming business in the refilling of inkjet cartridges. While there are aftermarket “generic” or compatible inkjet cartridges on the market it often does not match the quality of genuine inkjet cartridges. That is why refilling cartridges is a compelling option.
Process
You will have to buy the ink in bulk 500ml, 1l, then drill a hole (if there is not an existing hole to use) in the cartridge, fill it using a syringe and then plug the whole, some cartridges have chips that will need to be reset as well.
To market your business you can partner with internet café’s or copy shops that refer customers to you and get a commission. You can also visit businesses onsite and refill it if need be.
